Transshipment services at NLE and NCSP terminals in Novorossiysk
BSF has direct contracts with the NLE (Novoroslesexport) and NCSP (Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port) terminals. This enables us to promptly process containers, dry bulk and breakbulk cargo at berths No. 28–30 of NLE and in the dedicated areas of NCSP. The terminal agreements ensure full compliance with the rules approved by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation (Order No. 182 of 2014). Thanks to these partnerships, BSF provides this service with full transparency of costs and lead times, which is ideal for multimodal delivery schemes.
Main process stages
Cargo handling in Russian seaports is strictly regulated and consists of sequential steps designed to ensure safety and efficiency. The typical workflow includes:
Acceptance and inspection of cargo: verification of documentation, recording of volumes in the contract, acceptance from vessel, railcars or trucks.
Unloading and storage: deployment of cranes and handling equipment; temporary storage at NLE/NCSP terminals.
Processing and packing: direct operations (ship‑to‑terminal or terminal‑to‑ship) or via warehouse; re‑packing and labelling as required.
Loading onto onward transport: loading into containers, rail wagons or trucks; issuance of VGM and other required approvals.
Release and documentation support: final checks, customs documentation and handover to the end consignee.
Strict adherence to these steps minimizes idle time and fully complies with applicable regulations.
